Obituary for Simeon Andrew Harris

Passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House at Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, July 23, 2023, Simeon Andrew Harris, age 81 of Seal Cove, Fortune Bay.

Simeon leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Melita; son, Kerry (Marilyn) at Grande Prairie, AB; daughters, Linda Brushett (Gary) at Grand Bank, NL and Daphene Simms (Kevin) at Hermitage, NL; grandchildren, Justin Brushett (Kara) at Houston, TX, Jamie Brushett (Lisa) at Paradise, NL, Gina Penney (Joshua) at Seal Cove, CBS and Miranda Harris (Daniel Hobbs) at Grande Prairie, AB; great grandchildren, Lily, Jack, Parker, Jesse and Ainsley; brother, Wesley Harris (Phyllis) at Seal Cove, FB; sisters, Evelyn Meade (Sidney) at Paradise, NL, Sarah Mullins (Freeman) at Harbour Breton and Claris Tibbo (Tom) at Paradise, NL; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Simeon was predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Maude Harris; parents in law, Walter and Martha Connock; brothers in law, Herman Langdon, George Connock, Reuben Clarke and Alfred Pack; sisters, Betty Langdon and Marion Connock; sister in law, Laura Connock.

Visitations took place on Wednesday, July 26 at the Salvation Army Church, Seal Cove from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Salvation Army Church, Seal Cove with Majors Neil and Dolores Abbott officiating. Inurnment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove.
