Obituary for Eva Bessie Hunt

Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center at Harbour Breton on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, Eva Bessie Hunt, age 84, of Gaultois, NL.

Eva leaves to mourn her loving family: sons, Derek (Patricia) and Todd (Daphene), all at Gaultois; daughters, Marie Simms at Antigonish, NS and Judy Mayo (Anthony) at Gaultois; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Joyce King (Redmond) at Morrisville, NL and Juanita Crewe at Marystown, NL; sisters in law, Phyllis Harris and Laura Banfield; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Eva was predeceased by her husband, Max Hunt; parents, Benjamin and Myrtle Banfield; sister, Ada Prior; brother, Shirley Banfield; son in law, Everett Simms.

Visitations took place at St. Luke’s Anglican Church at Gaultois.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, December 7th, 2023 at 2:00pm from St. Luke’s Anglican Church at Gaultois with Rev. Jonathan Durdle officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Gaultois.
