Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in the early morning of Tuesday July 11, 2023, Ambrose Simeon Loveless, age 84 of Seal Cove, Fortune Bay with family by his side.

Ambrose leaves to mourn his loving family: his wife, Marina of 66 years; sons, Wayne (Cavell) at Halifax, NS, Lendo (Ethel) at Hermitage, NL, Roland (Isabelle) at Seal Cove, F. Bay, NL, Oliver (Norma) at Sussex, NB and Elvis (Marsha) at Paradise, NL; daughters, Donna (Murray Wells) at Seal Cove, F. Bay, NL, Cathy (Randy Sheppard) at Peterborough, ON, Patsy (Peter Kearley) at Sherwood Park, AB and Marlene (Kenny Short) at Paradise, NL; 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; sisters in law, Shirley Rideout (Sydney – deceased) and Georgina Stone (Merrick); brothers in law, Lester Bungay (Viola), Harold Bungay (Marion), Jim Bungay (Jane), Doug Bungay (Sharon), Dave Bungay ( Brenda), Rex Bungay-deceased (Meta), Hughie Bungay (Gail) and Ron Bungay; as well as a large circle of other family and friends.

Ambrose was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Caroline (Wells) Loveless; brother, Johnny; adopted aunt, Emmie Loveless; parents in law, Archie and Francis Bungay; brother in law, Rex Bungay; Uncle Harvey and Aunt Susie Wells, Uncle Ambrose Wells and Aunt Francis Wells and Aunt Carrie Crewe as well as many other members of the Wells, Crewe, Anderson and Banfield families.

Public Visitations took place at The Salvation Army Church, Seal Cove on Thursday, 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm and Friday, 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-8:00pm ( Informal Community Gathering).

A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, July 15th at 2:00 pm at The Salvation Army Church, Seal Cove, Fortune Bay with Majors Wayne (son) and Cavell Loveless officiating followed by interment at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove, Fortune Bay.
