It is with great sadness that the family of Alvin Cyril Wells announces his passing at the James Paton Hospital at Gander on Monday, February 20, 2023, age 63 years, formerly of Sandyville.

Alvin leaves to mourn his loving family: brother, Guy Frederick Wells at Grand Falls-Windsor; aunt, Nina McNamara at Harbour Grace; special caretaker of ten plus years, Lexie Loveless, who he resided with in Gander for the last seven years; special friend, Beverley Patterson in Nova Scotia; plus a circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Alvin was predeceased by his parents, Cyril Robert Wells and Alma Wells; brother, Jonas Myril Wells; sisters in law, Bessie Wells and Wendy Wells; other family members.

Visitation took place on Wednesday, February 22 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00 pm at St. Saviour’s Haven at Hermitage.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage-Sandyville.
