It is with great sadness that the family of Regina “Jenny” Nugent, age 69, of St. Alban’s, announces her passing at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Centre at Grand Falls-Windsor on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Jenny leaves to mourn her loving family: daughter, Leeann (Marcel Power) of Corner Brook; son, Keren (Julie Schmidt of New Bedford, MA; grandchildren, Justin Nugent, Caitlyn Nugent, Jordan Nugent, Leah Organ and Lindsay Organ; special pet, Lily; siblings, Mary Kendell of Morrisville, NL, Claude Morris (Isabelle) of Peterborough, ON, Louis Morris (Tammy) of Goulds, NL, and Lenora Short (Doyle) of Clarenville, NL.

She is pre-deceased by her husband, Eugene; her parents, Albert and Adelia Morris of St. Alban’s, NL; siblings, Cecil, Albert “Bert”, Damian, Jerome, Lorraine, Bernard, Tobias, and Gerard; and her bother-in-law, Karl Kendell.

Jenny was extremely active in the St. Alban’s community volunteering for the ambulance and community channel and is survived by a wide circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation took place at Spencer’s Funeral Home at St. Alban’s on Saturday, January 21, 2023 and Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm both days.

Funeral Service was held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church at St. Alban’s with Father Patrick Ousji officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
