It is with great sadness that the family of Jane Rose Hunt announces her passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Healthcare Center in Harbour Breton on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, age 69 years of, Harbour Breton.

Jane leaves to mourn her loving family: husband, Alec, of 49 years married; son, Bob (Danielle) and daughter, Monica Snook (Alec), all at Harbour Breton; grandchildren, Robbie, Jordan, Alex, Colton, Allison and Willow, whom she dearly loved; special pet, Katie; sister, Marie (David Baggs) at Clarenville; brothers, Jim Skinner (Madonna), John Skinner (Robena), all at Harbour Breton, Francis Skinner (Bev) at Seal Cove and Kevin Skinner (Sara) at Gander; brother in law, George Hunt (Laura Jane) at Halifax, Nova Scotia; sisters in law, Beatrice Turner (Darren) at Sackville, Nova Scotia and Mildred Augot (Phil) at Harbour Breton; as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Jane was predeceased by her father and mother, James and Helen Skinner; brothers, Leo ''Bud'' Skinner, Dan Skinner, Joe Skinner and Robert ''Bob'' Skinner; sisters in law, Mooney Skinner and Ivy Hunt; parents in law, George and Beatrice Hunt; brother in law, John Hunt; and other family members.

Visitation took place at Spencer's Funeral Home in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, December 21 and Thursday, December 22 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Funeral Service was held at 10:00am on Friday, December 23, 2022 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Harbour Breton with Father Joy officiating. Cremation took place after the funeral.
