Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, December 3, 2022, Freeman Thomas Evans, age 61 years, formerly of Grand LaPierre.
Freeman leaves to mourn his loving family; brothers, Eli Evans (Beatrice) at Grand La Pierre and Leo Evans (Kim) at Goose Bay, Lab; sisters, Ida Pierce at Harbour Breton and Gladys Dicks at Port aux Basques; sister in law, Wilhelmina Evans at Grand Le Pierre; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by parents, Wilson and Elizabeth Evans; brothers, Arthur Evans, Clyde Evans and Gilbert Evans; sister, Loretta Strickland; brother in law, Walter Pierce; sisters in law, Marion Evans and Harriet Evans.

Visitation took place on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Spencer’s Funeral Home, Harbour Breton.

Interment was held at St. Thomas Anglican Church at Grand le Pierre on Tuesday, December 6, 2022
