It is with great sadness that the family of Eva Pierce announces her sudden passing at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital at Grande Prairie on Monday, May 30, 2022, age 69 years of Harbour Breton.

Eva leaves to mourn her loving family: son, Trevor and daughter in law, Jennifer; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Alyssa, all at Peace River, Alberta; sisters, Gladys Short and Lucy Wells (Bill); brothers, Roy (Maxine), Gordon (Christine) and Winston (Bertha) all at Harbour Breton; sisters in law, Betty Pierce at Harbour Breton, Beatrice Pierce at Grand Falls-Windsor and Maisie at Lunenburg, NS; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Eva was predeceased by her parents, Hughie and Mary Pierce; son, Mitchell; brothers, Clayton, Walter, Hughie Jr. and Calvin; brother in law, Hubert Short; sister in law, Ethel Pierce; niece, Dorothy Johnston; grand niece, Gina Prior; and a large number of other family members.

Visitation took place on Tuesday, August 2 at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church at Harbour Breton with Rev. Hubert Vallis officiating. Burial will follow at a later date.
