It is with sadness that the family of Gordon Hunt (Sr) announces his peaceful passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, age 80 years of English Harbour West.

Gordon leaves with many fond memories, his loving family: sons, Linwood (Sharon), Gordon Dean and Derrick Davidge (Darlene), all at English Harbour West; grandchildren, Justin (Lisa), Jordan (Crystal), all at English Harbour West and Jennifer (Brandon) at Paradise; great grandchildren, Harper, Hope, Ruby and a fourth due to arrive in June; as well as a large circle of other family members, in laws, other relatives and friends.

Gordon was predeceased by his wife, Sarah, in September of 2021, as well as a circle of other relatives.

Visitation took place at St. Thomas Anglican Church at English Harbor West on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Funeral Service was held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:00 pm from St. Thomas Anglican Church at English Harbour West with Rev. Tryphena Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, English Harbour West.
