It is with great sorrow that the family of the late Joan Bernice Loveless announces her sudden passing on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, at the age of 66.

Joan leaves to mourn: her sons, Wayne Loveless and Kevin Loveless; her sisters, Eileen Johnson and Phyllis Johnson; her brothers, Douglas Johnson (Ann-Marie) and Roger Johnson; her nieces, Katherine Johnson, Nicole Johnson, and Samantha Johnson; plus a large circle of friends and former students.

Joan was predeceased by her husband, Charlie Loveless; parents, Douglas and Florrie Johnson; parents-in-law, Edgar and Ethel Loveless.

Cremation has taken place.

Celebration of Joan’s Life was held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Salvation Army Citadel at Seal Cove with Majors Osbourne and Roxanne Randell officiating. Attendance by invitation only with Vax Passes, ID’s, and Masks required. Assigned seating with family bubbles and required spacing. Inurnment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Church in Seal Cove, Fortune Bay or to a charity of one’s choosing.
