The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marvin Crant can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Sorry to hear of Marc’s passing. As a friend and his supervisor for years myself and Marv became good buddies. He was a good cook who kept us fed when we worked in Marystown together. Thought a lot of his family and will surely be missed by all. Take care.

Condolence: Margaret and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Marvin’s passing.
Marvin and I, Kevin, grew up living next door to each other. We were almost the same age and we shared many of the same same experiences in the tiny community of Jersey Hr. We sailed our boats along the landwash, played soccer in Uncle Aaron’s field, hockey on Flagstaff Pond, and Cowboys and Indians on Little Hill. And when we were older we were allowed to use our grandfathers motor dorys and race around the harbour. We were fast, but I don’t think we broke any speed records with three horsepower Acadia make-and-break engines.
As we got older and moved from Jersey Hr we didn’t see each other very often, but Im sure we both knew where the other was and what was happening in each other’s life. Marvin, my friend, we will see each other sometime later on and race again - maybe with outboard motors this time.
To Dave, Donna, Sharron, Terry, Jessie and all your families, please accept our sincere and heartfelt condolences. Marvin is flying high with the angels and watching over all of us till we all meet again. He was a great friend and I’m sure you have great memories of him. Take care of each other and may God bless you all.
