It is with great sadness that the family of Marvin Crant announces his passing at his home at Harbour Breton on Friday, January 7, 2022, age 73 years.

Marvin leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Jessie; son, Michael (Norma); granddaughter, Jayda; brothers, Dave (wife, Nina) at Seal Cove and Terry (wife, Tracey) at Harbour Breton; sisters, Donna (husband, Dave Pierce) and Sharon (husband, Reg Strickland), all at Harbour Breton; sisters in law, Glenda (Marshall Godwin) and Denise (Paul Shea); as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Marvin was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Emily Crant; parents in law, Fred and Cora Buglar; great nephew, Noah Lloyd.

Cremation has taken place.

Visitation took place at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. COVID 19 regulations were followed.

Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 2:00 pm from St. Bartholomew’s Church at Harbour Breton with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. COVID 19 regulations were followed.

Inurnment to take place at a later date.
