Passed peacefully away at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, Newman Blagdon, age 66 years, of Harbour Breton.

Newman leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Mary; daughter, Marsha (Donald) and son, Jamie (Tina), all at St. John’s; stepdaughter, Amanda (Bob) at St. John’s; stepson, Anthony (Hollie) at St. Alban’s; grandchildren, Logan and Carter at St. John’s, and Clarissa at Blanc Sablon, Quebec; sister, Frances (Ross) at St. John’s; brothers, Murdock (Marion), Edward (Barbara) and Hubert, all at Coomb’s Cove; brother in law, Ralph Farrell at Harbour Breton; plus a large circle of other family and friends.

Newman was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth; parents, Edward and Alice Blagdon, sister, Loretta; parents in law, Ralph and Maude Farrell; other relatives.

Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of his life will be held privately for his immediate family.
