It is with great sadness that the family of Anthony Stephen Casey announces his passing at the Health Sciences Centre at St. John’s on Monday, November 8, 2021, age 59 years, of Harbour Breton.

Anthony leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, of 39 years, Bernadette; sons, Stephen Casey (Jennifer) and Dennis Casey, all at Harbour Breton; granddaughters, Jaslene and Jaycee; brothers, Mike (Karen) Casey, Wade (Freda) Casey, Darren (Donna) Casey, Darryl (Della) Casey and Barry Casey, all at Nova Scotia; sisters, Paulette Avery (Bobby), Dorothy Newell (Gary), Sherry Casey (Wilfred), Ruby Rhynold (Donnie) and Nancy Bouchie (Mike), all at Nova Scotia; parents, Scott and Florence Casey at Nova Scotia; sister in law, Frances Delaney (Henry) at Nova Scotia; brothers in law, Marty Parrott (Sherry) at Nova Scotia, Gerald Parrot (Delia) at Harbour Breton and Brian Parrott (Tracey) at Nova Scotia; as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by son, Baby Casey; granddaughter, Caysie; parents in law, Martin and Anne Parrott; sister in law, Mary Harris.

Visitation took place on Thursday, November 11 at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and, on Friday, November 12 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. COVID-19 regulations were followed.

Funeral Service was held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church at Harbour Breton with Father Joy officiating. Burial followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
