It is with great sadness that the family of Riley Thomas Skinner announces his passing at the Health Sciences Centre at St. John’s on Saturday, November 6, 2021, age 59 years of Gaultois.

Riley leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Veronica; sons, Jonathan (Angie) at Buchans NL, Joshua at Gaultois and Jeffrey (Samantha) at Mount Pearl, NL; daughter, Janielle (Cameron Barry) of St. John's, NL; grandchildren, Lilly, Jayden, and Skylar; and soon to arrive grandchild, Rylee; his father, Thomas Skinner at Gaultois; brothers, Mitchell (Leeanne) and Kevin (Karen); sisters, Gloria (Rodney Piercey), Darlene (Fred Harris) and Claudine (Dean Kearley); as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and long time friends.

Riley is predeceased by his mother, Ida Skinner of Gaultois; brother, Ronald Skinner; mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Archibald Mayo; sister-in-law, Anne Mayo.

Funeral Service was held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm at St. Luke’s Anglican Church at Gaultois with Rev. Robynn Toal officiating.

Special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Heath Science Centre of 4SA, ICU, and Dialysis Unit for the wonderful care and attention of our Father, especially nurse Ashley and Dr. Martin for being with our Father at the end of his courageous battle with Vascular and Kidney Disease.
