Obituary for Ivy Hunt
Ivy went to her eternal rest at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre at Harbour Breton on Friday, September 10, 2021.
Ivy leaves to mourn her loving family: sisters, Beatrice Turner (Darren) at Lower Sackville, NS and Mildred Augot (Phil) at Harbour Breton, with whom she resided; brothers, George Hunt (Laura) at Halifax, NS and Alex Hunt (Jane) at Harbour Breton; sister in law, Martha Hunt; special niece, Jackie Hoskins; special friend, Leo Augot; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and their families, other relatives and friends.
Ivy was predeceased by her parents, George and Beatrice Hunt; brother, John Hunt; Uncle Albert and Aunt Eliza Sibley; nephew, Glen Hunt.
Visitation was held at Spencer’s Funeral Home on Sunday, September 12 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and on Monday, September 13 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church with Father David Joy officiating. Cremation followed. Inurnment will be announced at later date.
