It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clyde George Bartlett of Coomb’s Cove announces his tragic passing on Friday, July 23, 2021, at the age of 67.

Clyde was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Viola Bartlett; brother, Randy Bartlett; father in law, Clayton Strowbridge; sisters in law Annette Vallis and Ruth Shave.

Clyde leaves to mourn, with a lifetime of wonderful memories, his wife, Judy, of 48 years; daughters, Melanie Hopkins (Lee) and Tammy Brenton (Gilbert), all at Yellowknife; son, Clyde Bartlett (June) at Yellowknife; grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Rylie, Brianna, Braden, Bradley and Amelia; sisters, Mabel May (Leo) at St. John’s, Phyllis Lawrence (Don) at English Harbour West and Daphne Langdon (Derrick) at St. John’s; mother in law, Ruth Strowbridge at Grand Bank; sisters in law, Ruby Fiander at Marystown and Bertha Poole (Lloyd) at Grand Prairie AB; brothers in law, Harold Vallis, Clayton Strowbridge (Elaine), Derek Strowbridege (Kim) and Chris Strowbridge (Beverly), all at Grand Bank; special cousin and friend, Hubert Blagdon at Coomb’s Cove; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Visitation took place on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church at Coomb’s Cove from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm for Family only. Public visitation was held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church at Coomb’s Cove from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Funeral Service was held on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 2:00 pm from Holy Trinity Church at Coomb’s Cove with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Coomb’s Cove.
