It is with great sadness that the family of Sarah Maude Welsh announces her passing at the Hugh Twomey Health Care Centre at Botwood on Friday, July 9, 2021, age 85 years of Pool’s Cove.

Sarah leaves to mourn her loving family: daughters, Josephine Marshall at Pool’s Cove, Vera (Sam Lawrence) at English Harbour West and Colleen (Guy Rose) at Norris Point; sons, Horace Welsh, Aubrey (Tina Chaulk) Welsh, all at English Harbour West, and Byron (Jackie) at Dryden, ON; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; brothers, Albert Parsons (Viola) at Port Aux Basques and Chesley Parsons (Patricia) at Port Bickerton, NS; sister, Dorothy Lyons at Halifax, NS; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Emily Parsons; son, Brent Welsh; son in law, Mason Marshall.

Visitation took place at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton on Sunday, July 11 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. COVID-19 regulations were followed.

Funeral Service took place on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 1:30 pm from Spencer’s Funeral Home Chapel at Harbour Breton with Pastor Winston Reddicks officiating. Interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery at Pool’s Cove.
