It is with great sadness that the family of Maud Rose announces her passing at her residence in Hermitage on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, age 92 years of Hermitage.

Maud leaves to mourn her loving family: son, Douglas (Emily) at Hermitage; daughters, Grace (Gus Jones), Jean and Deborah (Dwayne Doyle); grandchildren, Terri, David, Jamie, Andy, Neil, Dennis, Rob, Chuck, Alana, Stephen and Sarah; thirteen great grandchildren; sisters in law, Elsie Rose and Frances Rose; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her husband, Gordon; son in law, Allan Crewe; parents, William and Amelia Dowding; sisters, Myrtle, Mabel and Ruby; brothers, Ernest and Jack.

Immediate Family visitation took place on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at St. Saviour’s Haven from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Walk Through visitations took place on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at St. Saviour’s Haven. COVID-19 regulations were followed.

Funeral Service was held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Robynn Toal officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Rose’s memory to the St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage.
