It is with great sadness that the family of Derrick Michael Snook announces his passing at his residence in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, age 54 years of Harbour Breton.

Derrick leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Laura; sons, Adrian and Justin; brothers, Bill (Sharon) at Sydney, NS and Melvin (Florence) at Harbour Breton; sister, Jennifer (Trevor Pierce) at Peace River, AB; sister in law, Goretta Snook at Harbour Breton; mother in law, Margaret Snook at Harbour Breton; nieces, Cynthia (Val) and family, Cornelia (Eric) and family, Laurie (Adam) and family and Alyssa; nephew, Mackenzie; close friends, Wayne and Marina Cox, Andy and Trina Skinner, Kevin and Georgina Pierce and Rick and Michelle Stewart, all at Harbour Breton; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by parents, Bill and Kathleen Snook; brother, Manual Snook; nephew, Matthew Snook; and father in law, Arch Snook.

Private Family Visitation took place at Spencer’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 and Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm both days.

Funeral Service was held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church at Harbour Breton with Father David Joy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
