Obituary for Lillian Strickland
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lillian Strickland announces her passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, age 94 years, of Harbour Breton.
Lillian leaves to mourn her loving family: children, George (Hilda), Janet, Frances, Tom (Patsy), Laura (Junior), Dean (Mary), Bernice (John) and Gladys (George); nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; plus a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Chesley; parents, Jeremiah and Annie Savoury; brothers, Isaac and John Benjamin; daughter, Bride; sons in law, Charles Pierce, Hughie Druken and George W. Pierce; grandson, Dwayne Strickland.
Private Family Funeral Service was held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm from Spencer's Funeral Home Chapel at Harbour Breton with Rev. Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
