It is with great sadness that the family of Linus Gerard Baker announces his passing at the Carmelite House at Grand Falls-Windsor on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, age 54 years of Harbour Breton.

Linus leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Patricia, of 24 years married; daughter, Gabrielle (Matthew Tibbo); son, Drew (girlfriend, Holly), all at Grand Falls-Windsor; grandchildren, Nathan, Hailey and Allyson; brothers, Norman Baker at Nova Scotia, John, Dan, Vincent, Jim Will (Flora) and Edward (Doris), all at Harbour Breton; sisters, Claudia (James Kearley) at Harbour Breton, Mary Hickey at Terrenceville, Bessie (Ambrose) at Harbour Breton and Barb (Gerald) at St. John’s; plus a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Julia Baker; sister, Jane; brothers, Silas, Joseph and Peter; sister in law, Mahala Baker; brother in law, Joseph Hickey.

Private Family Visitation took place at Spencer’s Funeral Home on Thursday, November 26, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm ,and, on Friday, November 27 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Private Family Funeral Service was held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church at Harbour Breton on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11:00 am with Father David Joy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
