It is with great sadness that that the family of Linda Mary Stride announces her passing at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, June 27, 2020, age 71 years, of Conne River.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Stride; daughter, Mary Stride; son, Jeffery Stride; parents, John Joe Drew and Mary Anna Drew; brothers, Thomas, Wilfred, James and Gordon Drew; sisters, Mary Drake and Emily Benoit.

Linda leaves to mourn her loving family: daughters, Delores Hinks (Levi), Melita Howse (Lionel), Tina Benoit (Barry) and Maisie Hiscock (Wayne) all at Conne River; son, Joe Stride (Teresa) at Conne River; twenty-four grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; brothers, George Drew (Pricilla) and Larry Drew (Rita) all at Conne River; sisters, Daisy Joe (Andy), Collie Benoit (Gilies) and Florence Tremblay (Yvon) all at Conne River; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Conne River. Burial followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Conne River.
