It is with great sadness that the family of the late Selena F. Vallis announces her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Care Center in Botwood on Friday, May 29, 2020, age 93 years, of Coomb’s Cove.

Selena leaves to mourn her loving family: sons, Roy (Margaret) at St. John’s and Eric (Tanya) at Lake Echo, NS; daughter, Marina (Bill) at Sheet Harbour, NS; daughter in law, Anne Marie Vallis; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren; good friend and Bingo buddy, Anne Vallis; sister, Georginia McKinnon (Percey) at Louisburg, NS; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by her husband, Chesley; sons, Walter and Larry Vallis; father, George Cluett; mother, Grace Cluett Fiander; step father, Cecil Fiander; parents in law, Walter and Mary Vallis; brothers, William Cluett, Arch Cluett and Cecil Fiander; sisters, Mabel Blagdon and Viola Bartlett; great granddaughter, Emily.

Burial took place on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Anglican Cemetery, Coomb’s Cove with Rev. Mildred Tobin officiating.

Donations in Selena’s memory may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Coomb’s Cove.
