It is with great sadness that the family of Wilfred Henry Abbott announces his passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center at Harbour Breton on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020, age 81 years of Hermitage.

Henry leaves to mourn his loving family: sons, John (Karen) at Dartmouth, NS, David (Kim) at Brampton, ON and Junior Abbott (Tina) at Seal Cove; beloved dog, Benji; grandchildren, Melissa and Robyn; brother, Leonard Abbott (Mary) at Hermitage; sister, Ruby Matchem at Milltown; sisters in law, Vera Abbott, Glady Abbott and Mona Abbott; plus a number of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his wife, Audrey; grandson, Andrew; brothers, Clayton Abbott, Gordon Abbott, Earl Abbott and Roland Abbott; sisters, Mona and Sophie.

Visitation will take place at St. Saviour's Haven at Hermitage on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and on Wednesday, February 26th, 2020 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Funeral service will be held at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage on Thursday, February 27th, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Robynn Toal officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Hermitage.
