Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Complex in St. John’s on Sunday, February 16th, 2020, John Richard Skinner, age 61 years of Harbour Breton.

Leaving to mourn his loving family: wife, June; brothers, James (Barbara) at Harbour Breton, Harvey (Diane) at Quebec, David (Gaelinda) at Alberta and Eric at St. John’s; sisters, Anne (Roger) at St. Pierre, Frances and Alice (Roger) all at St. John’s; plus a large number of other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, James and Melita Skinner; a special friend, Joe Skinner; twin sister, Maggie; sister, Bessie; niece, Millie; great niece, Averee; parents in law, Norman and Julia Rose; brothers in law, Eric Lace and George Powell; as well as other relatives.

Funeral service was held at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church at Harbour Breton on Thursday, February 20th, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Roy Simms officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
