It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Ernest Day announces his sudden passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in Harbour Breton on Saturday, October 19th, 2019, age 62 years of Harbour Breton.

Gordon leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Genevieve Day; daughters, Shyann Day (Laurindo) and Regina Day (Damian) all at Harbour Breton; son, Bobby Day (Denika) at Whitecourt, AB; grandchildren, Chandler Day, Carter Day, both at Harbour Breton, Marcus Day, Mason Day, both at Whitecourt, AB, Max Mullins, Jackson Mullins and Skye Mullins; great grandchild, Lincoln; brothers, Abe at Harbour Breton, Reg (Vivian) at Bishop Falls, Wilson, Jr (Bridget) at Harbour Breton and Kenneth (Judy) at Gander; sisters, Eliza Margaret, Gertie (Jim) both at Harbour Breton and Lorraine at Whitecourt, AB; plus a number of other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Wilson, Sr and Mary Day; parents in law, Emmanuel and Elizabeth Bungay.

Visitation took place at Spencer’s Funeral Home, Harbour Breton on Monday, October 21st, and Tuesday, October 22nd.

Funeral Service was held at St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church at Harbour Breton on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Roy Simms officiating. Cremation followed. Burial will take place at a later date.
