Obituary for Freeman Garland Caines
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Freeman Garland Caines announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, July 21, 2019, age 86 years, of Pool’s Cove.
Freeman leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Amy; son, Garland (Trudy) at Pool’s Cove; daughters, Emily Patey (Ray) at Bide Arm, NL, Diane Savoury (Roy) at Belleoram, Bertha Fizzard (Pious) at Pool’s Cove, Rebecca Caines (Darren) at Roddickton and Debbie March (Rodney) at Grand Falls-Windsor; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; sister in law, Charlotte Caines at Pool’s Cove; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Simeon and Gladys Caines; brothers, Samuel, Randell, Ephraim and Henry; sisters, Delliah and Elsie.
Funeral Service was held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Pentecostal Church at Pool’s Cove with Pastor Jamie Ings officiating. Interment followed at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Pool’s Cove.
